What you’ll need

• 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
• 3/4 cup warm milk
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp salt

For the filling:

• 4 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup raspberry preserves or mashed raspberries
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the glaze:

• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2–3 tbsp milk
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

How it comes togethe

In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar, letting it sit until foamy (about 5–10 minutes).

Stir in sugar, egg, melted butter, and salt.

Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Knead for about 5–7 minutes until smooth and slightly elastic.

Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).

In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly, then spoon raspberry filling over the top.

Roll tightly into a log and slice into rolls.

Place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again for about 30 minutes.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and fluffy.

Whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle generously over warm rolls so it melts into every swirl.
