1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup whole milk

Zest of 1 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)

Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast:  Mix yeast with warm milk and a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Make the Dough: Whisk in eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and lemon zest. Add flour and salt. Knead until smooth.
