For the Loaf:

- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.
- Whisk together dry ingredients.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 45-55 minutes. Cool completely.
- Whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over loaf.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
