Ingredients

  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 tub whipped topping or 2 cups freshly whipped cream
  • 1 can cherry pie filling or homemade cherry topping

Instructions

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and sugar. Press into a 9×13 pan. Chill or bake for 8 minutes at 350°F (optional).
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in whipped topping or whipped cream until fluffy.
  4. Spread half the cream mixture over the crust.
  5. Top with half the cherry pie filling.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining cream mixture and cherry topping.
  7. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for the best texture. For a fresh twist, swap in homemade cherry topping or try blueberry, strawberry, or peach variations.
