Cherry Chocolate Cream Wonton Bites (Crispy Outside, Melting Inside)

There’s something about that crispy bite followed by a soft, melted center that’s hard to resist.

And these do it perfectly.

Golden, crunchy wonton shells filled with a smooth cherry chocolate cream that melts as soon as you break them open. Sweet, rich, slightly fruity—every bite hits differently.

What you’ll need

• 20 wonton wrappers
• ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
• ¼ cup powdered sugar
• ½ cup cherry pie filling (chopped slightly)
• ⅓ cup chocolate chips
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Oil for frying

Optional topping:

• Powdered sugar
• Melted chocolate drizzle

How it comes together

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Fold in the chopped cherry filling and chocolate chips.

Place a small spoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.

Fold and seal the edges tightly.

Heat oil in a pan and fry each wonton until golden and crispy.

Remove and let them rest on paper towels.

Finish with powdered sugar or a light chocolate drizzle if you want.

The best part

Break one open while it’s still warm.

The inside turns soft and creamy, with melted chocolate blending into the sweet cherry filling.

That contrast with the crispy shell makes it impossible to stop at just one.
