Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Make it Creamy: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
- Add Flavor: Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
- Combine & Serve: Return the chicken to the pan, coating it with the sauce. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and flavor.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of chicken broth.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
