- 12 oz sliced shabu beef
- 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 large bowl of day-old rice

Black Pepper Sauce:
- 4 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Prepare the Black Pepper Sauce – Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, black pepper, and minced garlic in a bowl.
- Cook the Beef – Heat a pan over medium-high heat, cook the beef until browned, then set aside.
- Sauté the Veggies – In the same pan, cook onions and garlic until fragrant, then add corn.
- Fry the Rice – Add day-old rice, break it up, and mix in the black pepper sauce.
- Combine and Serve – Stir in the cooked beef, top with butter and green onions, and serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly ground black pepper for better flavor.
- Add mushrooms, bell peppers, or spinach for extra nutrients.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in a pan.
